Horses and Ponies

For the past two years Penny has been my son’s superstar of a best friend. Now she is almost outgrown we are looking for her next home where she can continue to enjoy having fun and making more great memories.

Penny is a very pretty, smart and talented pony with a great personality and a definite yard favourite. She likes to be busy and can turn her hoof to every discipline proving to be a quality all-rounder with lovely paces.

She is a forward ride and needs a confident rider so would be suitable as a second pony.

She’s great out hacking, alone or in company, in front or behind and isn’t spooky, silly and is good in open spaces. She is fine with all forms of vehicles including cars, motorbikes, lorries, tractors, bikes etc and isn’t fazed by other distractions such as farm animals or dogs.

Penny is agile and fast, and this little pocket rocket has hunted regularly for the last two seasons having the best time when she and my son are out together.

She loves to jump and is always careful with her feet, rarely touching a pole. Whilst she’s been with us she’s competed at local shows, show jumping, hunter trials, arena eventing, Pony Club completions, NSEA and she’s regularly in the ribbons. She’s also been to camp twice and has thoroughly enjoyed beach rides.

Happy to be turned out with mares or geldings, can live in or out but loves company.

Currently shod up front, she is great for the farrier, vet and dentist. She’s good to groom, plait, bathe, load and travel. She is sensitive around her tummy to clip, however never nasty she just needs a kind and caring approach. She’s fully vaccinated, wormed and teeth up to date.

Penny has been an absolute pleasure to own and a very special part of our family.
